A preliminary design of a 180 KW Rudder drive (VRK-180) has been developed.
Scope - ships (self-propelled barges) for shallow river and sea areas.
VRK-180 has partial electric motion on slow motion.
The use of EC-gearing made it possible to implement a Z-shaped power drive of the column and a two-line swing reducer in limited dimensions (in height) of the vessel.
The main operating mode of the VRK-1800 is from a diesel engine (ICE).
A modification of the VRK-180 for full electric propulsion has also been developed.
We are looking for a partner to implement this project.
The project can be applied to the Caspian-Black Sea water transport corridor.
