An EC-engagement with a wheel made of high-strength Rimamide structural polymer has been developed for use instead of involute (or Novikov) gears for the TS2NSH750B-37 rocking machine gearbox.

Advantages:

4.Pole contact with a small number of teeth(z1=4, z2=25(Rimamide), z3=5, z4=30(Rimamide)); 5.High EFFICIENCY; 6. Greater transmitted torque; 7.The weight of the gearbox has been reduced.

Earlier, in order to reduce the cost of the TS2NSH750B-37 gearbox, the oil company manufactured involute wheels (z1=15, z2=94(Rimamide), z3=15, z4=89(Rimamide)) made of high-strength structural polymer Rimamide (see photo below). The developed EC gear has fewer teeth (z1=4, z2=25(Rimamide), z3=5, z4=30(Rimamide)),as well as better strength characteristics and higher efficiency.
